Hello! I'm Asif Shah, the founder of Bangkok Collection, proudly based in Mumbai.

My journey began at the age of 17, coming from a humble, middle-class background where every rupee mattered. I worked multiple jobs just to support my family—paying rent, covering college fees, and putting food on the table. Despite my love for fashion, I couldn't afford the clothes I admired.

In December 2021, I got a life-changing opportunity to work at a clothing retail store—not in sales, but in marketing and online promotion. It was a commission-based role, and my job was to transform their offline store into a successful online business. I gave it everything I had. Slowly but surely, my efforts began to show results—the store saw a 50x growth in profit, and customers started pouring in, both online and offline.

But success brought challenges. After the business grew, the owners decided to stop paying me commissions and offered a fixed salary instead. Eventually, they told me they couldn’t afford to keep me. I was heartbroken, but I didn’t give up. I realized that if I could build someone else's business, I could build my own.

With the help of my family and especially my brothers, I borrowed money and opened a small retail store. I was scared—failure meant losing everything. But from day one, customers came in, and I knew I was on the right path. Today, Bangkok Collection has grown into a trusted brand with three branches in Colaba, Seawoods, and a wholesale warehouse in Mumbai.

This journey has taught me that success doesn't come from luck alone—it comes from hard work, faith, and the support of people. I treat every customer like family, and their love has helped me reach where I am today.
